Reading: Bill Bryson's "Down Under"

Here's something to cheer anyone up on a bad day. It is taken from one of the funniest and best books I've ever read, "Down Under" by Bill Bryson (2000). READ IT! You'll love it.

"Then, having nothing better to do, I leafed through the index and amused myself, in a very low-key way, by looking for ridiculous names, of which Australia has a respectable plenitude. I am thus able to report that the following are all real places: Wee Waa, Poowong, Burrumbuttock, Suggan Buggan, Boomahnoomoonah, Waaia, Mullumbimby, Ewlyamartup, Jiggalong and the supremely satisfying Tittybong."

What can I say? Gotta love Australia

Two other personal favourites are Wollongong (nice place, by the way) and Woolloomooloo. And what does Norway have to offer? The best we've got is a little town called "Hell". Rather boring, if you ask me.
